About BrainDance
BrainDance is an AI dream kit that helps you explore the meaning of your dreams. Capture dreams by typing them (voice capture is also available on iOS), get multi-framework interpretations (Jungian, cognitive, narrative, cultural), track recurring symbols and emotional patterns, and discover what your dreams reveal over time.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Open the app and choose Sign up. On iOS, sign up with Apple. On Android, sign in with Google or email. On the web, use email and password or Sign in with Google. Your dreams are private to your account and encrypted in transit.
I forgot my password.
On the web sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We'll email you a reset link. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or write to dreams@brain-dance.app. (Apple Sign In users on iOS don't have a password — sign back in through Apple.)
How do I delete my account and all my data?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. There is a 24-hour grace period — sign back in within 24 hours to cancel. After that, it permanently removes your dreams, interpretations, any voice recordings (iOS), and account data from our systems, and cannot be undone.
If you can't access the app, email dreams@brain-dance.app from the address on your account and we'll process the deletion within 30 days.
How do I export my dreams?
Settings → Account → Export your data. You'll receive a JSON file containing every dream entry, transcript, interpretation, and tag. On iOS, any voice recordings you made are included as separate audio downloads.
How much does BrainDance cost?
BrainDance is currently free — every feature is unlocked at no cost, and there are no in-app purchases. If a paid plan is introduced later, it will be managed through your platform's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and you'll be able to cancel anytime from there.
I'm having a problem with voice recording.
Voice capture is available on iOS. Make sure BrainDance has microphone permission: iOS Settings → BrainDance → Microphone. If you still see issues, write to support with your device model and OS version. On Android, dreams are captured as text.
Are my dreams used to train AI models?
No. Your dream content is never used to train AI models, ours or any third party's. Interpretations are generated on-demand using third-party AI (Anthropic) under contractual commitments that prohibit training on customer data. See our Privacy Policy for the full statement.
Is BrainDance therapy or medical advice?
No. BrainDance is a journaling and reflection tool. AI-generated interpretations are exploratory, not clinical. If you're working through trauma, grief, or persistent distressing dreams, please speak with a licensed mental health professional.
