About BrainDance
BrainDance is an AI dream kit that helps you explore the meaning of your dreams. Capture dreams by voice or text, get multi-framework interpretations (Jungian, cognitive, narrative, cultural), track recurring symbols and emotional patterns, and discover what your dreams reveal over time.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Open the app and choose Sign up. On iOS, sign up with Apple. On the web, use email and password or Sign in with Google. Your dreams are private to your account and encrypted in transit.
I forgot my password.
On the web sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We'll email you a reset link. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or write to support@brain-dance.app. (Apple Sign In users on iOS don't have a password — sign back in through Apple.)
How do I delete my account and all my data?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your dreams, voice recordings, interpretations, and account data from our systems. The action is irreversible.
If you can't access the app, email support@brain-dance.app from the address on your account and we'll process the deletion within 30 days.
How do I export my dreams?
Settings → Account → Export your data. You'll receive a JSON file containing every dream entry, transcript, interpretation, and tag. Audio files are included as separate downloads if you opted into voice capture.
How do subscriptions work? How do I cancel?
BrainDance has a free tier with daily AI interpretation limits, and a paid tier with deeper analysis, longer voice capture, and historical pattern reports. Subscriptions are managed by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- iOS: Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → BrainDance.
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep paid features until then.
I'm having a problem with voice recording.
Make sure BrainDance has microphone permission. On iOS: Settings → BrainDance → Microphone. On Android: Settings → Apps → BrainDance → Permissions. If you still see issues, write to support with the device model and OS version.
Are my dreams used to train AI models?
No. Your dream content is never used to train AI models, ours or any third party's. Interpretations are generated on-demand using third-party AI (Anthropic) under contractual commitments that prohibit training on customer data. See our Privacy Policy for the full statement.
Is BrainDance therapy or medical advice?
No. BrainDance is a journaling and reflection tool. AI-generated interpretations are exploratory, not clinical. If you're working through trauma, grief, or persistent distressing dreams, please speak with a licensed mental health professional.
